Jenna Strom was born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida, where she attended Bishop Kenny High School, University of North Florida, and Florida Coastal School of Law. At UNF, she competed on the Women's Division I Swim Team, served as Editor and Chief of the newspaper, and graduated with honors.

Strom attended Florida Coastal on a governor's scholarship, served as a Staff Editor on the Law Review, received a book award for the highest grade in Constitutional Law, and was on the dean's list for consecutive semesters. She also worked as a Constitutional Law and Property research assistant, a Property teacher's assistant, and represented indigent clients in the Family Law Clinic.
In her spare time, Strom enjoys competing in local running and swimming races and traveling.
